About Cyberpunk.gg
Cyberpunk fiction got the shape of it right. Ambient surveillance, private power that answers to nobody. If you read those books and recognized your own street, you're the reader here.
The stance is post-cyberpunk. High tech arrived and it landed unevenly, and that's the starting condition. Nobody is coming to unwind it, so the useful question is how you operate inside it.
The site is a news terminal. The wire carries real-world signal and genre news across ten desks, tagged so you can follow one thread instead of the whole firehose. An automated editor ranks the top stories every couple of hours; a human curates over it. The calendar tracks upcoming cyberpunk media and gatherings. Every headline links out to its source — no bodies are stored, no ads run, nothing tracks you.
Every few months someone posts "we live in a cyberpunk dystopia now" with that week's receipts, it does numbers, and then it scrolls away. This site is the persistent version of that thread: the same connection made systematically, on a wire, with an archive.
Earlier versions of this site published a US Cyberpunk Index research preview; it's retired, and may return.
Cyberpunk.gg is a Planetary Industries publication.
